Faulty Touchscreen on Samsung Tocco Lite

Hi All,
I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice on my faulty Samsung Tocco Lite GT-S230.
Basically, my phone was working perfectly up until 2 days ago. But now I cannot access the menu or even make a call.
There are 3 buttons at the bottom of the phone and the only one that works is the 'keypad' button - when pressed, it will show me if I have a missed call or a message - I can access the missed call and can ring it back but I cannot access the messages or get into the menu and I cannot phone out at all apart from when I have had a missed call.
I cannot send back to the manufacturer/shop as it was given to me for my birthday a while ago.
Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks
Hope I have posted in the correct category.

It will need to be sent to Samsung.
The same happened with mine, the sensors underneath the screen need to be replaced. Mine was only a few months old so I took it to a Samsung centre thingy who sent it back to Samsung, gave me a (really old) phone to use, and 2 weeks later it was back and fixed.
I'm not sure you could fix it yourself...take it to a carphone warehouse or something similar and see if they would send it to Samsung to be fixed? Or contact Samsung direct.
Hope that helps

Thanks for your advice, I will try to see if I can send it back to Samsung.
Fingers crossed, lol.0 -
Same happened to mine. I phoned Samsung and they fixed it really quick. Only problem you might have is that they say if you don't include a receipt they will reject it. I had bought mine as BNIB from eBay. They accepted my papal receipt luckily. Good luck.0
