Even if it's with someone like Provident who collect from your door?0
-
If you get any door to door collectors around, tell them that the account is in dispute, ask which company they work for (they normally have an ID badge), and then post up here.Best Regards

Yeah it's hard, specially as my dad doesn't know about it & I never see the clubman because I'm always working till 5. So it's not as if I can pull him about it. Do clubman put things onto credit expert?0 -
The simplest thing to do is to check your credit record at your address and your mums. That will show up any debts you might have. I'd also get you dad to check his credit records too.
What you do after that depends on what you find but a proper family meeting would be a good bet. If your mum has taken out debts in your name you should at least tell her you might go to the police as this is fraud.

Hiya again, theres nothing on my credit report, but I don't think the company she uses does credit checks cos they collect the money from the door.0

The next step then is to take this to your mum. Organize a proper sit down family meeting. Agree a date and time in advance, all sit down around a table in the kitchen or dining room and tell your mum you are concerned about her debts and you'd like to talk about it. Above all stay calm. Take it from there.

Just a point but if you signed a credit agreement for your 18th birthday were you actually 18 when you did it? If you weren't 18 I don't think your responsible for the loan as you were under 18.Nothing to see here, move along.0
