Hi to all, has any body had any problems with a company called Fone Safe? I have been with them since iI had a upgrade back in 2008and have paid my £8.50 every month until this very month ie; 7th May, I was at Faro airport last night and some guy and his partner ran into me and sent the phone flying!!! phone is now broken.
I contacted Fone Safe explained the suituation and was told that they could not do anything as they have not had a payment, I received a letter from them dated the 12th \May saying if there was aproblem or you need to update your details please contact us, which I did, well you might as well watch paint dry, no help whats so ever, on the phone for 90 mins and got no where.
Very bad attitude also I said that you have sent me the letter to update my details which I am doing and that the letter in question is dated the 12th May, his reply was it is now the 21st, Hello 8 days from date of letter and I have been abroad.
Outcome he put the phone down, very Professional
Now looking for some one else.

Well if you had paid on 7th May, your insured til 7th June. So i don't see what the problem is in them doing a claim.
I think the FSA regulates them so if you have no success goto the FSA / consumer direct (trading standards).Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
