Does anyone have another thing i can add to the icing? Would love to give these ago but i am allergic to coffee.

Chocolate? Cocoa? Drinking chocoalte? (can you spot a theme?) White chocoalte might look nice as well.

Leave it plain as a buttercream?

    Orange?

Cocoa powder to make a chocolate icing, or peppermint essence (nice with the chocolate), vanilla or just leave the icing plain.

I was thinking about chocolate but was wondering if it would make them far too sweet, i will have a play around with a few, the orange sounds nice.

Big success in my house this rainy afternoon. I reduced the sugar to 6 oz and it was fine. They are very filling though ;) Thanks again for the recipe
