I wasn't aware of that, however it was still included with my inclusive minutes on the mobile, so didn't cost me any more, still cheaper than 0845 though...:)

Hi all, I am expecting a lump sum from the tax credits. Last years payments were based on previous income of 27000, but due to a bad year (we have our own business) it was actually 15000. I think I'm due a good lump sum back. I telephoned my renewal on 12/05, and then checked the forums and was pleased to see that everyone who had already renewed had received their money within about six days. I'vew not had anything yet, and I could really do with the money. Has anyone else who renewed recently received a lump sum yet?

I would phone and see if your renewal has been processed - if not I suspect they may ask you to call the specialist team and go through the renewal again. x

    Hi,
I finally got round to phoning the TCO (kept putting it off) and I'm so glad I did! After holding for 12 mins and setting up new security details, a really nice man told me my reward had been finalised, he told me how much my new payments will be, and even confirmed how much my lump sum is for, although he couldn't tell me when it was coming! He was really helpful and didn't mind checking at all. I suppose I was expecting them to be really busy and unhelpful, but not at all. Anyone else whos panicking that there is a problem with their claim, I recommend you call them - I'm glad I did!

its usually about 3 days after it has been finalised you get the payment do you mind me asking how much your lump sum was? Does it make much different for this year?

Hi, it makes a big difference. I'm owed 2840 from last year, which should get me uptodate with most of my bills, and I'll now receive 520 every four weeks. A big relief!
