I think I would go crazy if I spent too much time in here. Half the threads seem to be started by gold lovers, property !!!!!s or attention seekers.
That said, its nice to pop in every now and then and have a [STRIKE]laugh[/STRIKE] serious discussion.
Probably a good idea to stay away. I came to MSE looking for house buying and pensions advice and strayed in here. I can't seem to find my way out now!"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I know what you mean, even though you realise that it's like banging your head against a brick wall you still find yourself coming back for more.
I've just about given upthough, I don't get as involved as I once did as I have realised it's just not worth the effort.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

I'm gutted this carnage of 0.25% drop has cost me about £200! It is the end of civilisation as we know it!
But really I am a lot more concerned about my 10 mile race on Sunday and my slow progress in bowls now that the outdoor season has started.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Yet another losing day for the FT-SE 100
It has lost nearly 15% of its value in the last few weeks.

But it was hardly a 'meltdown today' (as you predicted) was it? (the Dow Jones is currently up today!) Maybe you should start thinking of your next profile id name as you can't survive many more embarressing threads like this can you?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

That's what I love about you guys, you always bite! :T
It was down 2.5% today at one point. And that's on top of recent heavy falls. That's carnage in anyone's books.
Still down today, and it's likely to go down much further in the days and weeks ahead. Tin Hats at the ready.0 -
