Quite, it's that "who knows" factor. Stock markets are one of a few things in this world that noboby can predict, The 'experts' can make educated guesses, but often those predictions (if published) can affect the outcome anyway.
If someone who is supposed to be 'in the know' says stock markets will fall today, loads of folk will sell, so the markets fall.
I got my direct investments out a while back, because I don't have the time/inclination to watch them like a hawk and respond accordingly.
Of course my pension providers will be in there. I've got another 15 years to ride those, can't lose sleep about them now.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.
