Hi. I currently have sky multiroom with sky hd and sky+ boxes. If I want to replace the sky+ box with another hd box, does anyone know what extra charges will be involved? cheers

My guess, and I could be wrong so I advise checking with SKy (They have an online chat room where u can ask) is that you will get a free HD box but have to pay for installation as an existing subscriber - and that's currently £60 (used to be £30)
If you went for another multiroom they migiht do a free installation - again worth checking (if you do not mind forking out another £10 per month)0 -
£10 for another multiroom!!! If thats true then thats a disgrace. I'm hoping they will send free hd box with free self install option. The online chat room is rubbish. They always respond with 'oh great you want to upgrade, please call this number blah blah blah'. Seems like I am talking to a computer. I'll give them a ring at the weekend and see what they say. thanks0

Yes, I do think when you already pay another £10 soon mounts up - as you will see in my recent post I decided to add HD to my exisiting because I just got a new TV and want to see the World Cup in HD (Yes, I know you do not need Sky for this, but see my post)
then again, we love TV so its a treat for the family!
I agree the chat line is not brilliant but they should at least be able to answer basic quesitons like this0 -
It's £10 for the HD & £10 for the second subscription (which you currently pay),so an extra £20 per month on top of your main monthly subscription.0

You are also unlikely to get a free HD box if your original box was direct from Sky. Sky only substidise the first HD box. Even if you paid £299 when the box was originally released that was still classed as a substidised box as the real cost was much higher.0
