Sorry the details on this are going to be sketchy as Mr Bobsa is the techie not me.
You can now register for the 8Meg (not sure if that is correct but it's 8 something) broadband with KC and it is cheaper than the current 2meg one.
We pay over £20 per month at the moment and the new one is Around £16.99 per month, for a better service.
They aren't doing a massive publicity campaign, at least not at the moment but details are on the Karoo home page.
Hope this helps and sorry for sketchy details:j

Unable to find anything on www.karoo.co.uk website.
I did, however, notice that KC/Karoo must be one of the most expensive broadband providers out there going by this page from KC. It states the 2mb unlimited is £30per month with the cheapest unlimited being £18 for a measley 512k. The current highest is 3mb unlimited for a massive £40 per month.
I'm not sure if this is normal for those in the KC area but I actually nearly had an heart attack when I saw those prices. It's been years since I've seen prices as high as that!!!
Is all this due to lack of proper competition in the KC area?0 -
sadly it's only available to new customers...
"Offer only available to new Karoo customers and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Subject to a 12 month contract."
