If it has full service history I would have a punt at £3500.0

jd82, you would have been spot if it was average mileage, however we can add £400 or so for genuine low miles at 24k.
I'm assuming its an 03 plate as opposed to 53?"If you are going through Hell, keep going" - Winston Churchill0 -
The exact value depends on what people are willing to pay. This sort of car is attracting a premium at the moment but it still a seven year old car. I personaly wouldn't pay any more than £2000 for it but that is just me.0

if it private parkers say it is worth £3525 with 70,000 miles on clock, so if your mileage is genuine probably about £4000, but as somebody else points out, a car is only really worth what somebody is willing to pay for itTake every day as it comes!!0

Sorry for the thread hijack but it seems pointless to make a fresh topic for the same question.
I'm putting my car up for sale today. It's a 2001 (51) BMW 318Ci SE. It's the later 2 litre model. 51k miles. FSH.
Obviously 2 litre petrol cars aren't too popular at the moment with the price of fuel and I'm really not sure what I should be looking for.
Thanks everyone, You're life saversThis is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
A stealership would be looking at around the £5000 mark....
Same car 2004 plate with 18'000miles is currently priced at £5799 on the Toyota used car website.
They charge what they want for small cars.
Big cars are much better value for money and with the saving on the initial price, you can afford the slighter higher tax/fuel costs quite easily.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Toyota Yaris 1.3 VVT-i Spirit auto 5 door - 24,000 miles (genuine), metallic paint, private sale, fsh, 2003, sunroof, a/c
How much is this car worth to buy?
Hiya,
Having been looking at this kinda car (incl. corsa, clio, 206, fiesta and micra) at that age a different car would be £3000 but with it being a Yaris and low mileage with proof and a/c Id say you could go for £3750-£4000.
FYI i ended up buying a Black Peugeot 206 manual 5 door 1.1 fsh 2005 28000 miles with no a/c but foglights/sport seats for £3000 (negotiated down from £3295 and others being around this and £3500).
However it being auto you might want to stick to lower as i think they are less popular, at least with people i know, but i could be wrong. It also depends where you are I browsed/bought near Birmingham as it was much cheaper then just south of Bristol.0 -
And it these mad prices which convinced me to break the rule of a life time and buy a brand new car. Why anybody would pay £5k for a 7 year old supermini is just beyond me. The 206 at £3k seems like a good buy

The Yaris is worth approx £3600 trade in price.
