Returning new contract

I bought a new contract from e2save recently, but am not very happy with the phone. I would like to return it, but the returns period for e2save is ony 7 days. And its already been over 7 days, its like the 11th day now. Any chance that returns will accept the phone so late?
Also, I had my number ported over, so what happens to that then? Can it be converted into PAYG or do I lose it with the return?
