For one day only, from now until 10pm, today, all PAYG handsets will have 20% off. This will include the top handsets, such as:

Blackberry 8520 £119.99 (6 months free internet)
Nokia 5230 £63.99 (6 months free internet)
T-Mobile Mini Pulse £79.99
(6 months free internet)

I read on the hotukdeal forums about the Pulse Mini. Cheapest andriod phone on the market and it can run google navigation (google sat nav) as it does have GPS.

Blackberry also a good deal.... especially when you consider the 6 months free blackberry service/internet.

When the 6 month internet deal runs out on any of these phones, it costs £20 to get another 6 months... so all in all, I think it is a good deal.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been waiting for another one of these day specials. Shame the Samsung Galaxy isn't the site as PAYG, but is elsewhere. Hmm...choices choices.

also..... on PAYG at the moment.... If you top up £10 anytime in the month, you get unlimited texts the following month. Just rinse and repeat to get texts for life i.e. £10 each month = unlimited texts. The £10 you top up with can still be spent on anything, it doesn't get eaten up by the promotion.

I'm torn between the Pulse Mini and the Motorola Dext thats current going for £150 PAYG. Is it worth the extra money? Hmmm....

Forgot to add, Quidco has raise the cashback on T-Mobile from £5 to £10, so even better value.

It says on quidco £10 cashback, but today i purchased 5230 and it tracked as £5.

Do compare the prices with carphonewarehouse before buying + carphonewarehouse sells unlocked phones...
  • Go for the Pulse Mini - £79.99 with 6 months free internet and a great little Android phone. Top phone.

blackberry or pulse mini for me.

Both are insanely good deals when you factor in the 6 months free internet, worth £20 alone. Go with either. If you need 3G then go pulse. If you are not a major internet user but love email, then go blackberry.

I went for the Pulse Mini in the end. I had a look at the Dext in the shop and didn't like the design or size. Plus Mini was cheaper overall. It should tie me over until the next PAYG android phone comes along.

The 20% banner is gone, but the prices are still discounted. Probably until early tomorrow as did the last special.
