    maybe if the email was better written and didn't contain things like "verbal skills of an uneducated moron" and other insults, they might have responded differently ? It really did come across as confrontational and aggressive.

    I thought the same. Theres no need to be impolite in the e-mail, they aren't the people that served you badly.

    I think along with this tech guys email you are just picking up on any little issue in the hope of getting a few pounds compensation. That email was just shocking, when I worked in complaints I would have laughed at the email and you would have got the standard apology reply so the 20% really is a goodwill. Honestly, what would you have liked? I notice you took quite a lot of detail about that shirt you wanted, I think you wanted them to give it you for free... maybe thats just how I read it.


    Also the Pringles complaint and the wanting to know what compensation others got post??!

    They have emailed back apologising , they say that they have recieved other complaints about that store and they are investigating. they are sending out a £15 gift card.

    yeah iv heard a few people complain about that store. so be nice if it gets sorted. but in a selfish standpoint that gift card pays for the new shirt I want so its all good.
