YLOD is nothing like Red ring of death for xbox.

RROD relates to one very specific fault.

YLOD is a generic hardware fault code relating to ANY hardware component failure. So it in itself isnt an inherent fault.

You may have to prove its an inherent fault by forking out for an engineers report.

Actually, the RROD is a generic failure indicator as well, though with earlier version of the console it was largely down to poor manufacturing processes

Oh, i didnt know that, thanks for that. As far as i knew, each of the different light combinations meant a different fault.
