I have some jewellery audits for React tomorrow. Never done these before and it all looks quite complicated (especially for the measly fee!) I was assured by the allocator that they were very quick. Any tips from anyone who has done them?

They are really simple to do, and the fee does actually reflect what is involved. It only takes a few moments to check the stands, and a couple of minutes to fill in the form. All info is on the brief, and it does show you exactly what should be on what stand. It is a lot easier than it looks, and after the first couple, you will whizz through them. Anything else PM me.

I love them, really easy :j I worried about my first few being too quick, but I haven't had any queries or complaints.

I did my first ones today and they were fine, and it will all make sense when you see the displays.

Ah thank you, was hoping that was the case. It's just when I saw all the different types of displays etc on paper it looked a bit more complicated than I thought it would be. I do loads of audits so can usually wizz through but thought I had made a mistake in accepting these when I started reading the brief!

By the way,do you have to sign in on these visits?

I don't. Take the authorisation letter with you, in case you are asked what you are doing, but I usually just look around them in a covert manner. I take notes on my phone if I see anything wrong, which is few and far between. The jewellery is not anything to do with the staff in the shop, but an outside company as far as I know, so that may be a reason why you don't have to sign in. Everyone may do their audits in a different way, depends what is comfortable for you.
As I say though the fee is good for the amount of work that has to be done.

When I did one I signed in, but the staff didn't really seem interested/bothered!

I took a wee while to do the first one but it was worth it because now I just whizz through them.

I was asked for photographic ID once so now i carry my passport just in case. :rotfl:

What new site? Looks exactly the same to me... what am I missing?

I think it is just a new Home page because when I logged in the next page was the usual one :)
