What I'm wondering know is if it's worth cheekily asking if this might speed up the self-allocate process i.e. counting as two shops towards this (as long as I present an excellent report too)? Or is this a no-no? Don't want to burn my bridges by being cheeky :D

I seem to be doing anything and everything with ESA to try and get the self allocation privilege! Still to no avail! Has anyone asked and actually got anywhere? If so, who did you ask? I'd be very grateful if anyone could feed back.

I'm not sure there are any rules for the self allocate, as I can apparantly do it according to the emails I received and I haven't done any work for them....

    Good afternoon,

Could anybody advise how long it takes for Gap to reply to emails? I have sent email after email after making a mistake in my bank details but not one reply, they still manage to phone and ask me to do a job though!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

They are very variable. Sometimes they never reply. Other times, reply instantly (today for example, they called me back within seconds when I used the webenquiry system). Generally, they seem to take at least a week to respond to anything that is fairly "routine".

I've usually had a reply within 48 hours, but its usually to late for my question.. if your having no joy with the email, maybe best to ask them when they next phone you.

I had the same thing and never any reply. I went on line and altered the bank details anyway. They phoned me for a job today and I asked about it and was told that it is my responsibility to keep my details correct as they have too many shoppers to keep on top of it and my late payments will now be paid inthe June pay run.

I have one of them too but I have to browse 4 departments, ask for help in each and then make a small spend! A bit far fetched I think!

Yes it was a bit far fetched, but I think I managed to pull it off.

You know the supermarket jobs for TNS. Do you have to buy an item from each department that you have to visit? Or is it that you have to ask questions to the staff members but don't have to buy? and where do you find which ones you need to visit as I have one more department on the shopping list than I do on the first page?
