If there is EVER a question to make you stand out as the Mystery shopper this has to be in the top 5 of the most idiotic!

We did a visit this week and as there was no smell I answered the question as such-didn't ask the receptionist anything.

Last months re-brand questions were at least plausible ;)

I think the Hotel firm are fishing with various questions-hopefully they'll get a sensible one next month.

Top 5 Mystery shopper giveawys not in any order

1 Can I have a receipt in the burger place.

2 Can I have a coffee and a pint of beer

3 I'd like to pay for ONE game of tenpin bowling

    4. After buying a full cream moccha in the shop asking for a low calorie cake!

I'm sure we all have other Q's

Or where they send a 28 year old guy to do a bank job asking about a business account when the 28 year old looks about 20 and it's a total giveaway!

Occasions when I do my loopy old lady act:

    1. What syrups do you have for latte? OK. I'll have an Americano, thanks.

    2. This is the car I really want to buy, but I don't want a test drive.

    3. I'm looking for a new phone.

    4. Loyalty card? What's that all about, then?

    5. I really want to buy this TV, but I'll just have some batteries for the moment, thanks.

    6. I was just wondering what types of [bank] account you offer.

    7. Can you tell me the difference between your 24-hour service and your 3-day service?

    8. Hello, again. That xyz I bought in here 10 minutes ago .......

    9. How can I do that on the Internet, then?

    10. I was thinking of a romantic mini-break, really.

    Quick question(s)...................

Is there an MS company that does Airport parking?

    and

Are any of the MS jobs at the airports worth doing, bearing in mind ive got 3 kids in tow?

    cheers

TMDC does Stansted & Heathrow airport. They are restaurant mystery shopping assignments though, not parking ones, but I think they cover parking costs.
  • Well managed to find out why the ESA shops I was rang up about on Monday aren't showing - the woman never allocated them to be! However the woman I rang up was really helpful and gave me four for tomorrow :) Spent the last 20 minutes plotting a route around them all and trying to see if there are any others I can do on the way. There is a pharmacy on RE literally opposite one of the sites but you need a prescription for it and I don't know anyone who has one
Also, they are all convenience stores where I have to complain about an own brand product - I've never done a complainant one so any help would be much appreciated :)

Just started cashback-ing - makes me feel less guilty when I impulse buy!

Thanks blindman, I should be working right now, but instead i'm giggling like a crazy fool reading this.

Did a burger place visit recently and the girl at the counter literally, and I mean literally leap in the air when I accepted her offer of a receipt. While I sat there like Billy-no-mates eating my meal, the staff just stood at the counter staring at me :rotfl:. Then 1 of them followed me to the ladies afterward :rotfl:. Do you think they had me sussed?

After leaving the store and at a safe distance, I use my trusty safety pin to poke holes and tears into the packaging. Then i return to the store with an innocent expression on my face :A. I point out the 'damage' on the product and get me replacement/refund :D. It's easy and the staff are pretty good about it. Enjoy your visits :D.
