I know what you mean. My make-believe other half had me looking at big TVs a couple of weeks ago to watch England in the World cup....... hmmmmm I wonder how often that happened in Scotland ?;)

In Scotland they were probably looking at big TVs to watch Andy Murray at Wimbledon!

I thought Andy Murray only became "Scottish" when he gets knocked out of Wimbledon!

Oh no, we were looking at big TVs up here too - to watch the teams playing England ;) I live in Glasgow - totally football obsessed town.

    I crunch up crisps

Another way is to buy a small carton of milk and loosen the seal on it. They never query it.

Boyfriend drove me round for my visits last week and was much more inventive than I could be - we got all the stuff for the kids packed lunch this week - bread, ham, crisp, biscuits, milk LOL

BTW - their fruit shortcake biscuits are very easy to crumble.

Didn't get offered any refunds this time :(

Yes and it's only reimbursement of the first item the assistant recommends, so if they point out something costing £1, you only get a £1 back!

Ummmm I did a job the other day its a fee PLUS reimbursement it says that in the notes as well if we are talking about the same shop..

There are lots of options for the refund/replace option. I have always tried to get a refund as close to the maximum allowed amount.

Sandwiches are easy, and never questioned. prawns that taste "very fishy" have never been challenged, and always get refunded - why would anyone want more nasty sandwiches, and everyone knows that prawns can be dodgy.

By getting the refund you maximise the value of the job.

I agree that it is a waste, so take as big a bite as possible !
