I dont work for them (they didn't want me!) but from what I have heard.. very long winded questionnaires and reimbursment only so depends how much you want a free (ish) meal out.:D

Long winded is a rather unfair way of saying "thorough". They're certainly not the shortest of reports (although I expect to be through them in about 20 minutes, so not too bad) but unlike so many other companies, it actually feels like you're providing genuinely useful feedback that can be passed on to restaurants. I find their work enjoyable and actually believe my feedback is taken onboard.

I'm currently "enjoying" a free night at a Coventry Hotel..... one of my report questions....

"What was the receptionists reaction when you commented on the pleasant Citrus smell in the foyer of the hotel?"

....all well and good, but the only smell was of cheap chinese cigarettes!!!!

I did one yesterday...as I mentioned the smell..the receptionist looked at me as if I had 2 heads and just said nothing!!
Cue me looking like a real lemon:rotfl:

Have shopped a few times for RE, TNS, Gap and grassroots. I am looking at trying a few more now that I am in the swing of it, is Bare quite reasonable as I am still a bit of a novice, or are there other companies easier for newbies?

If anyone has a petrol job booked with GAP, please check the dates as there has been an error and they've needed to reschedule them.

If you've already completed your visit, you'll probably find it says "rejected/cancelled". If this is the case, email the shopper team and they will arrange payment.

Thanks for that. Sure enough, the audit I did yesterday is cancelled/rejected, but not rescheduled. I had a feeling there was something iffy when I did the job, because the site manager's inside info on audit dates is usually reliable! Time to send the email that will not be acknowledged in any way!

The audits I have lined up for August and September are still showing as active.

    BL00DY gyp!!:(

P.S. The report I did was the first one using gyp's autocomplete system (i.e. pre-populated lists). It was OK, except that the product names in the lists do not correspond with the product names used on planograms. It takes a bit of trial and error to locate correct products in the lists (e.g. B & H RYO Silver 25G on planogram is B&H Silver 25G in the list). There is a lack of consistency (e.g. you cannot just assume that abbreviations or spaces are/are not used in the pre-populated lists).

I like working for them, the money arrives quickly and any queries are genuine, not daft like some of them
