EGGS - How long is it before they allocate to new shoppers? I applied for a few and they all got handed to others. Boohoohoo!
Try going for some that are out of your way- I managed to get my first one by going for 1 a 45min drive away- annoying, but it seems to have got my foot in the door as whilst I was doing the shop, I had 3 messages from them asking if I could do more at the weekend! I managed to pick up a gfk bank job in the same place, so although it wasn't the best earner, I have more than broken even.0 -

A TNS supermarket visit goes like this:
I visit the three mandatory counters (meat, veg, elec)
It then tells me to visit clothing, veg, grocery and elec if at the store.
cover sheet says visit extra - grocery, elec
It lists counters at this store. (elec not being one of them)
so, when i go, i need to visit:
3 mandatory - 4 that are listed being in store
So, my question is:
Why list the dam things so many times. I really don't understand. Sure somebody helped last time but was a while ago and cannot remember.
Why are they telling me the extra counters are grocery and elec when they are also mandatory. i really don't get it. maybe as i haven't had my coffee yet.
Does anyone else get this confused?
They are very confusing!! Take a look at the first couple of posts on the thread, I've written a simplified guide. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Could someone who's doing the toddler meals visits (for they who must not be named) this week pm me? Or anyone who's experienced with that type of job? Could do with a bit of quick advice!
Thanks in advance.
ETA: Sorted now, thanks brryssn!0 -
Aaargh talk about repetitive!! Did 12 pricing lists at the supermarket for GFK this morning, just finished reporting them, and have had to upload the same receipt 12 times!! Why can't they link lists together so we only have to enter enter/exit details and receipt once???We’ve had to remove your signature. Bloomin' heck TG - 12!!!
I can just about manage 8 between two shops - you're a star!
I'd be going gozzy trying to keep up with 12..............:eek:0 -
And I'll tell you what else annoys me about those jobs - the products where it says "N/A - No Product. Leave price as 0.00" and yet at the end you have to manually override every one (I had 10 in one list just now) it 'cos the price can't be left at £0 GRRRRWe’ve had to remove your signature.
