Does anyone do any work for catalyst? I have been registered with them for ages and I check the Job Board every day but the jobs never change! :)

Well, sorry to disappoint. I have 6 jobs in this area over the next week or so, and they all are the same as usual, make a purchase or post a letter. And no debit card required.

Sorry to disappoint Debthater but the OP is correct. For the savings scenarios, you are required to pay with a particular debit card from a particular bank or Building Society. This will prompt the cashier to ask other questions, such as if you would require cash back.
  • Does anyone else seem to be waiting ages for gradings for bare reports?

I submitted five last week and haven't had any approved or graded yet  normally they're really quick!!

    warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

suckin eggs I know but anyone doing stamp jobs this week (savings) should read the brief carefully.

you have to pay with a certain debit card and spend at least a fiver or......................................

the assignment will be unassigned without pay and your shopper profile will be deleted.
    SO there!!

I think both options are right! I have some of each: there are the purchase/POP ones with enquiries (no minimum spend, pay anyway you like) and the scenario ones (minimum spend specified and pay with appropriate card). Fees and reimbursements are the same for both! ;)

On a different note - the forum has changed colour for me - its all bright and beautiful - is this the new design that some of you have had for weeks??:rotfl: Finally mine changed over

Mine has changed over this morning too - very green!!!

Not a very successful weekend for me... did my pizza dine-in on Friday, knocked the wrong button on my phone on the way back to the car and lost all my timings. Couldn't do it again as it was out of town and we're away next week. Gutted. I did the report anyway and explained what had happened in the comments box - had a vague idea on times but there are so many to remember, I need my phone. I like the GAP pizzas so will be gutted if I lose them :(

Then I was supposed to do an urgent Tech Support visit on Sat and couldn't make it in time. Emailed yesterday but no reply - had a phone call this morning and got a major ticking off... hope they don't kick me off the panel. I did do an urgent DIY job for them on Sunday so hopefully they will let me off.

I did a charity shop Saturday a.m. - was completely sussed as a mystery shopper, I'm sure. There was nothing to buy under the re-imbursement limit, so I didn't make a purchase. Took a photo of the store and was given a leaflet so hopefully this will be OK. And the assistant I spoke to had excessive nasal / ear hair which was really grossing me out.

Then I forgot to do my petrol job yesterday that I was given as a bribe. Thankfully I could reschedule that one...

I think this is possibly the worst MS weekend I've had so far - I blame the sun ;)

Ho hum - things can only get better!

Just a letter from HMRC saying that I don't have to pay NI contributions from the 11 April to 06 April 2013 but that I have to pay from 28th March 2010 to the 10th April and I've got a bill for £4.80 for NI but in that period I only did two mystery shopping jobs. Surely I don't have to pay that much NI on £10 of earnings. I hate the fact that the telephone number is 0845 UGH.

    Some Assosia money in today.

GAP & GrassRoots money showing as pending for tomorrow.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is there somewhere on GAP that lists any pending payments? If so, could someone tell me where to find it?

Thank you for any advice x

I also don't have to pay NI since I could claim under the small earnings clause but... I choose to pay them because it give rights to certain benefits in the future should you ever need them.... so if this is your only source of income you may wish to pay to protect yourself for the future? I am sure someone more clever than I will come along and give reasons to pay - and if you already have a job you may have to pay on any second earnings as well as a matter of course (or you may not  I'm sure again someone will know the answer to this:)
