Finally finished writing up jobs from yesterday - must remember to take my dongle to work on Thursday as apparently the internet will be down all week. Time for a sneaky voddie me thinks. Then sort my notes for tomorrows slog around Lancs.

Just tried clicking all over the place, but no luck. Ah well, just have to make do. Thanks anyway.

I can't get in on my iPhone now either since they put the swanky front end on the site.

I emailed them and their reply was a girl in the office can get on with hers. Try pressing done after entering email then press in the password box. Tried that and it doesn't work either.

It might make a difference which version of iPhone software you have loaded. I haven't upgraded it for ages which might be why I don't know.

Can't wait for the new one to come out but disappointed they networks are all getting rid of their unlimited data packages! Might end up being v expensive in the long run now.

It asks you to spell check but it never works (I am using a MAC) oh well never mind!:p

You're missing all the fun, then, spender! If you type in TKMax (as in store to left or right; not the name of the client!) it suggests changing it to Tampax.:rotfl:

If you think you can see a difference.....I started working on mystery shopping in 1993! I worked for NOP and did the usual - banks, pubs and restaraunts. When I started we all had area managers who were available every day by phone. We had training where we went to a hotel and had drinks, food, milage (Plymouth Marriot, I recall) and full training. Nothing was done online, all reports were sent to you and then reported back by phone the following day. I recall milage was 22p a mile (I believe currently 17 years later there is no milage for many MS companies or 24p a mile if paid). Pay was only marginally less than now. To be honest I can see no improvements...........

I worked for various companies in the days of yore ..... mileage at 25p/mile, all assigments manually allocated by real people - sent out by post and returned by post (handwritten results), tax and NI paid, Christmas cards every year, etc. In those days, most purchases had to be returned to the MS company by post (it was a rare treat getting to keep something purchased). Stress levels were lower, I have to say: MSers were trusted by the companies they worked for!

I too remember those days! Everything was done on paper, then I went on a training course to a hotel for 3 days and was taught how to use a laptop...but parrot fashion! It was a sackable offence if you used it to search on the internet! The blooming thing weighed a ton! But was worth about a grand so was a highly prized possession but when it came to sending the reports back it kept freezing the screen....I think that was a sign of things to come....no change with some of the companies...RE?

Talking of RE... Is there ANY browser that allows you to access everything for their jobs?

    I have:

    1. IE 7 at home, which allows me to view the time restrictions and questionnaires (but not print) and send in my report but doesn't let me see the assignment notes.

    2. IE 6 at work, which gives me a message saying it doesn't support it any more but does allow me to see the assignment notes, though I can't get into the reporting stage from there.

    3. Google Chrome at home, which allows me to view and print both the assignment notes and questionnaire but doesn't let me see the time restrictions!

I'm so fed up with having to open up two browsers all the time just to see everything about a job!

Thanks, I'll try that then. Thing is, I like IE and since we've got it at work too it avoids me getting confused, so I'll still have to open a separate browser just for RE. :-(

But at least if everything works in one place, it'll be worth it!
