Just done a coffee shop job for Research International. The one where you have to purchase a wafer bar that tastes like cardboard. Actually, cardboard would be tastier.

Nowhere was I asked to enter my expenses? It said up to £xxxx expenses and up to £xxxx special expenses, and as I couldn't enter any mileage or parking anywhere I'm guessing I'm just going to be reimbursed for the coffee and cardboard? I've got another 2 jobs booked and if that's all I'm going to get for them, I'm not going to bother!!!!

Looks like someone has dropped a posh pub/restaurant in the West Yorkshire area on RE. Huge reimbursement and a little fee, but only for 1 person. If anyone is in the Wakefield area, go get it now!

If we're looking at the same job, then the dates will need changing first! I wouldn't mind going for a pub meal by myslef, but not sure I could stretch it out for an hour.

On a different matter: Sorry to hear about the kitty MissSL

I'm very sorry to hear that. She's out of pain and chasing the fat mice in the sky.

I'm in a bit of a pickle. Did my first ever job for retail maxim today. Two parts - phone and visit. Tried phoning before I went. No answer. Visit went really well - staff were good, all that. Didn't get a chance to phone in the second window (after 3pm). The report is due by midnight. There is no 'no answer' option on the form. Tried emailing. Tried texting the number on the sheet. Do I just right No answer everywhere? Any advice?

On a plus point. Yay for me laptop and being able to work/ watch csi at the same time.
