Hmmmm I just thought I haven't checked since RE upgraded their site......ooh actually there is a problem. I can log in, but that's only because I have saved my password on it. I can't click into the box.

I emailed them when I first signed up about 2 months ago about the fact that I couldn't access everything in IE, but have had no reply whatsoever. Brilliant customer service. :D

I can't get in on my iPhone now either since they put the swanky front end on the site.

I emailed them and their reply was a girl in the office can get on with hers. Try pressing done after entering email then press in the password box. Tried that and it doesn't work either.

It might make a difference which version of iPhone software you have loaded. I haven't upgraded it for ages which might be why I don't know.

Can't wait for the new one to come out but disappointed they networks are all getting rid of their unlimited data packages! Might end up being v expensive in the long run now.

I'm on version 3.13 which it says is the most up to date. So the version can't make a difference either :(
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
  • Talking of RE... Is there ANY browser that allows you to access everything for their jobs?

    I have:

    1. IE 7 at home, which allows me to view the time restrictions and questionnaires (but not print) and send in my report but doesn't let me see the assignment notes.

    2. IE 6 at work, which gives me a message saying it doesn't support it any more but does allow me to see the assignment notes, though I can't get into the reporting stage from there.

    3. Google Chrome at home, which allows me to view and print both the assignment notes and questionnaire but doesn't let me see the time restrictions!

I'm so fed up with having to open up two browsers all the time just to see everything about a job!

I use IE8 any everything is fine. Can't access it on my nokia N97 though.

I too remember those days! Everything was done on paper, then I went on a training course to a hotel for 3 days and was taught how to use a laptop...but parrot fashion! It was a sackable offence if you used it to search on the internet! The blooming thing weighed a ton! But was worth about a grand so was a highly prized possession but when it came to sending the reports back it kept freezing the screen....I think that was a sign of things to come....no change with some of the companies...RE?

There are so many of us now that the MS companies can really take the mick on fees etc.... if a through visit is carried out and reported back in full (calculate total hours) then some of the jobs end up paying below the minimum wage especially if expenses, tax and NI taken into consideration... However, there are people who MS on the side, so to speak and do not declare - there is a lady in my area (a friend of a friend ish and is on benefits and does msing on the side) so frustrating when trying to follow the rules and regs and produce usable feedback

I have IE8 on XP Professional at work - no problems. IE8 at home on XP Home - again no problems. Mozilla Firefox whatever the latest version is at home - again, works fine. I guess I am just lucky!

Can't print questionnaires from GAPbuster in Firefox for some reason though.

I have just done a stamp shop for gap and think I have not got the “right” receipt. I bought some stamps and paid by card and only got one receipt with this, which I thought was normal so did not ask for another one. However I can not see the receipt number on what I have got and it does not look like the example in the briefing notes. Should I have got another receipt?

It is not the end of the world as I can re-do it next week if I have to, it is really close by.

Another question, which is a more general one but how do people count the “number of people infront of them in the queue”, do you count groups of people for the number of people in the group or take them as one person. Eg today there were three adults in front of me but only one was waiting to be served and I am not sure if I should record that as one or three?

Not sure re the receipt as it's been a while since I did one of them!

Queue numbers: personally, I would record your example as 1 (as they will take queue numbers into account when looking at timings etc.) - you could replace these 3 adults with the 1 being served and the queue movement / timings etc. would be the same. I know some companies specifiy you should count the customer groups rather than just the number of people...
