Good idea, except it was in a shopping centre! That will be my plan B if can't find another. The shop is miles away so there's no way I'm going back.

    which area are you in?

Ok I have a question. think I know the answer but would like it confirmed.

Did a drive thru. Had a chip when I got the meal. Didnt check properly until i was parked up. They had given me a large meal. They didnt even ask me if I wanted that. Am I right in thinking that gyp wont pay me now ? No pay for a mistake made by the burger company? Isnt this exactly what we should be reporting on? I know I should have checked my change and checked my receipt but i didnt.

If gyp wont pay then I'm not even going to do the report. If it's invalid for payment then it's invalid for sending. Anyone had this before? I vaguely remember it being discussed but cant see it.
I think you're allowed large meals actually. Someone a few pages back (im sorry, I've forgotten who) asked once and they said it's never said anywhere on the job notes that you're not allowed a large.

It was me who said it. A large meal is an acceptable order (as long as you stick to the allowed items). The brief doesn't specify size. Reimbursement is only what is stated in the job, though.

If you are given a large meal when you only ordered medium, you are supposed to query it, according to the brief. However, under your circumstances, borders, I would assume that I had asked for large and that is why I got large!

thanks Miss Q. I'll send in the report and see. Will post the result for future refence.

In my experience, Gyp should have no problem if you ordered large and got large. The only likely problem would be if you ordered medium, got large, and left the pick up window without querying it.

    Oh no!

I've done a book job for RE and forgotten to take a photo. If anyone has one from a shopping centre that I can borrow for the purposes of my report please could you PM me?

    Many thanks!
What shopping centre? If its Lakeside or Bluewater i may be able to help. Failing which, contact RE, they have a library of photos from previous jobs that they should be able to use. It's only to go on the front of the report that is sent to the store.
