I think you're allowed large meals actually. Someone a few pages back (im sorry, I've forgotten who) asked once and they said it's never said anywhere on the job notes that you're not allowed a large.

thanks Miss Q. I'll send in the report and see. Will post the result for future reference.
  • I can see why people get hacked off. The same questions are asked over and over again. The answers have been given over and over again over several mystery shopping threads which are highlighted on the first page. People expect to be spoonfed information rather than using their initiative and finding out for themselves. This thread is full of helpful people and advice as you will find out if you take time to read through.

I completely, completely agree that this thread is helpful and have found loads of useful information. However, if people find something annoying - and in this case it wasn't highlighted in the first page, nor easy to find by signing onto many agencies or searching on the alerts thread - then it might be better to ignore the post rather than start a stream of sarcastic messages amongst more experienced shoppers. Hopefully you can see that it may not come across as a friendly forum in these cases.

I don't want to upset people on here, that is not my intention at all - I just wanted to make a point :o

They had given me a large meal. They didnt even ask me if I wanted that. Am I right in thinking that gyp wont pay me now ? No pay for a mistake made by the burger company? Isnt this exactly what we should be reporting on? I know I should have checked my change and checked my receipt but i didnt.

I'm sure one of the questions is something like 'did you receive the correct order?' and one of the options is about receiving the wrong size.

    Oh no!

I've done a book job for RE and forgotten to take a photo. If anyone has one from a shopping centre that I can borrow for the purposes of my report please could you PM me?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Peeps
Well, I found this forum by chance about a week ago, and can't believe how helpful people have been. I've been MSing for a while, but only for a couple of companies, have signed up to a few more in the last week and now got a few jobs, with loads of perks (the spends). I can't thank you all enough, just need to crack the dining ones now... :)

Good idea, except it was in a shopping centre! That will be my plan B if can't find another. The shop is miles away so there's no way I'm going back.
