Yippee I've been accepted to carry out the health club assignment for Tern :j:j:j
It'll be a 30 mile round trip each time I visit but I don't care as it should help me burn off some of the fast food MS's that I do :D. Also as my day job is as a fitness instructor I can "borrow" some of the ideas from the instructors in the fitness classes.

Apparently my club is regularly frequented by footballers from the two local Premier league teams so all I need now is to get a haircut, spray tan, make over and sportswear MS job(s) so I feel worthy enough to visit the club and I'll be good to go! :rotfl:

So if one of you wouldn't mind booking in these jobs for me and completing the assignments afterwards then that would be grand. Thanks in advance ;)
got a job at the gym too- so excited!!!!!!!

Could someone post a list on the first page showing which questions are acceptable to ask and which ones will be received with a load of sarcastic responses. That would make life much easier.

Thought the general idea of forums were to be helpful and supportive - we are all 'new' and 'uninformed' at some point.

Well, I signed up to the majority of the companies and just waited to see what jobs appeared, the alerts thread is a good indciator. Read it and you'll see what clients are with each company.

Yes, everyone is new once but it's piggin annoying when one person asks for a PM and then loads of others jump on the bandwagon. God, I remember asking for a PM once and then about 6 people said 'Me too please' - you should have seen the comments then! :rotfl:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

    Hahahaha!
Not much point...it wouldn't be read!

Not meaning to offend but this is a very helpful forum...but sometimes people reach snapping point at the same old, same old. A run of PM me quotes is also so tedious....why not PM the person that originally states something rather than posting on the forum. Childish 'and me' behaviour courts childish responses.

Best way to get clients from Abai is to ask them. They are very helpful and if they feel you are worthy then you will see the jobs.

Ok I have a question. think I know the answer but would like it confirmed.

Did a drive thru. Had a chip when I got the meal. Didnt check properly until i was parked up. They had given me a large meal. They didnt even ask me if I wanted that. Am I right in thinking that gyp wont pay me now ? No pay for a mistake made by the burger company? Isnt this exactly what we should be reporting on? I know I should have checked my change and checked my receipt but i didnt.

If gyp wont pay then I'm not even going to do the report. If it's invalid for payment then it's invalid for sending. Anyone had this before? I vaguely remember it being discussed but cant see it.

    Thanks

A few folk have pm'd me. Will get back to you when I've caught up with my reports. A few to do.

I think you're allowed large meals actually. Someone a few pages back (im sorry, I've forgotten who) asked once and they said it's never said anywhere on the job notes that you're not allowed a large.

We have all needed help but do a bit of our own research first. Reading back through the forums, asking the agencies or PM ing someone gives a more beneficial result.

This forum has opened up the Mystery Shopping jobs to so many and unselfish experienced shoppers have contributed all the info that is on all 15 threads and more previously.

Sadly there are some simple questions that just involve a little reading or common sense. A great skill for a Mystery Shopper to have.

Just think ...if this forum wasn't here...sarcy comments and all...all you newbies wouldn't be able to see any jobs!
  • I can see why people get hacked off. The same questions are asked over and over again. The answers have been given over and over again over several mystery shopping threads which are highlighted on the first page. People expect to be spoonfed information rather than using their initiative and finding out for themselves. This thread is full of helpful people and advice as you will find out if you take time to read through.

I'm doing a shopping channel competitors shop on GFK today. I have to order something from the "Beauty" department between £25 and £30, wait for it to be delivered, and return it 2 days later. But in the briefing notes it says not to order personal grooming products or cosmetics as they are non-returnable.

So what can I order? I'm thinking of a make-up bag type of thing (some of the Cath Kidston ones are quite pricey) - do you think this will be OK? I tried ringing GFK to ask, but just get a recorded message which is sooooo quiet I can't hear a word of what is being said.

Have had same jobs as you, done 3 for the shopping channel and also the shopping channel competitor and ordered make up bag with the latter, shame we cannot keep these as got some fab things coming and all got to go back !!!:( but good fees if you can send it back with one of the gyp job clients lol ..........:)

If you google "First Tracking" you'll find it there.

If someone that does work for First TRacking could PM me some details about them I will happily add them to the first page.

Similarly if there are any other companies that anyone thinks need to be added, or any more "FAQ's" that you think should be there please let me know.

The first few posts grow with each thread!
