Not everyone has been given the privilege by ESA to self allocate. Not sure if you fall into that category? Usually you would have had to have done one or two jobs before they let you self allocate.0 -

I bank with HSBC too and agree that they are a godsend when it comes to checking payments pending! Lets me keep track of incoming payments.0 -

How do you get jobs with ESA? I keep applying and don't get any!The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

I also have no payments pending from Helion. So this is the second month running payments are late.0 -
Payments were made on the 20th (Yesterday) and it clearly states that it can take upto 5 working days to come. Today is the 21st.0

But isn't that what a Manager is for? And if, as you say, a Manager is in a paid position, this is what should be expected from his role? Surely if a volunteer/MOS is putting off customers/not pulling their weight etc, then they should be politely shown the door, or given a position in the "back office" (Remember this is free labour and shouldn't be refused!) I'm not sure that it takes a "contract" to find out this information.....?
Every ms we do,at every company, is about whether the manager is doing their job.
If a store gets a bad ms then the manager is expected to address the issues.Thats their job.
If a store gets a series of bad ms visit then the issue is obviously the manager rather than the staff.
Also, at every retailer i have worked at,poor ms is generally linked to poor standards across the store, most noticably sales and profitability. We did some graphs once which showed the links and every store in the company with a poor ms average had poor sales and profitability.
We have all done visits where the staff obviously set the standards rather than the manager.
You know the stuff - no badges, cups of tea on the counter, ignoring the queue and so on.The client wants to know about this because it relates directly to his profitability.
Good managers see ms as a tool to help them do their job better, bad managers dread the visit.0 -

Perserverence! Similar to the conversation we had on the board yesterday regarding jobs for React. Keep on applying for jobs and one day you will be allocated one. Keep checking the website as new assignments are downloaded or shoppers may cancel an assignment. Make sure you have a contact telephone number on your ESA profile as they usually phone trying to cover jobs no-one else wants to do. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and take a job some miles away just to get a foot in the mystery shopping door.0 -
Does anyone know, with banking jobs, if you're asked to note the time it takes to be acknowledged, is this a precise timing, i.e. minutes and seconds, or a general timing, i.e. just in minutes?
I've just checked and the voice memo on my iPhone stops recording if I open up another app with a stopwatch, making timing awkward if it's precise.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
