Ah, I can't get that far as I can't get past the toilet question. Will scan it & await their response (or deallocation!).

If its an error with what you've input it usually means you've contradicted yourself somewhere - does it not give you the option to 'click here' to go to the error?
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

The error is on the question asking which toilets you visited. I've definately got the right sex(!). I'd previously answered whether they were clean so I can't see what the contradition is.

I'll get on with a couple of other reports & go back to it & try again.

I've had a couple of problems since the 'spell check' came in. I found going back into the report and double clicking the spell check thingy sorted it. HTH

    Not heard of them myself.
If they were genuine they wouldn't need to contact you as they would have plenty of shoppers I'd have thought. Suppose you can look at the website- check it on google rather than following their link.

I got this tonight from a legit company.

Please be cautious of any websites using xxx website address asking for your details for mystery shopping. We have had a couple of queries from the field.
As you are aware we are a web based company and you update your own personal details. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS OR ANY PERSONAL DETAILS TO ANYONE. Bank details we ask you to send in directly in the post and as a web
based company you update your own details as required.

We have had this in the past and the scam is likely to run as follows:

If you type "Mystery shopping jobs" into Google you will get a web site paying to be at the top called:

    Secret-Shoppers.co.uk
This is a fake site collecting information (email addresses) from potential or existing mystery shoppers.

    Another one is:

    UKMysteryShopperJobs.com
This one also collects emails and names and promises work (but charges about £28.00 so sign up)

After they have got an email address and name the scam continues where they claim to be from a bone fide company and after a few more emails backwards and forwards they will either have collected enough details to raid your bank account or charge you for mystery shopping information that can be found freely available anywhere on the internet.

If you have any concerns please forward the email to the Support Team

    Kind regards

    Keep your eyes peeled.
  • Little bit off topic but not really given how useful they are to us. Has anyone seen the new iPhone?

    Apparently it'll be launched on 24th, they're taking pre-orders in a weeks time :D

I'll be one of the first in the queue, the silent button keeps playing up on my 3G and they charge up to £140 to fix it so for that price I may aswell have a nice shiny new one :rotfl:

I've just been looking at it on the apple site, very tempted (even though I'm still on contract for a nokia!):j

Just got an email from Gapbuster this morning...
Thank you for mystery shopping with GAPbuster. Following best business practice, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore, we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GAPbuster consistently delivers quality results to our clients.
As a result of this practice we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, you will not be required to complete any further assignments for GAPbuster. Any jobs assigned to you which have not yet been submitted have been cancelled from your account - please do not complete the assignment(s).

Any payments owing to you from work already completed will be paid as normal in the next payment period. If your bank account details need to be added or altered, please go to the Shopper Portal and submit any changes or additions.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to re-register with us. This decision is final and can not be challenged.
We sincerely thank you for your continued efforts to improve the shopping experience for all customers.
We hope your GAPbuster shopping experience has been enjoyable.
    Best regards,
    Shopper Team

To be honest, I stopped eating their free burgers along time ago and there's not much else on there so I won't miss them. No more phone calls from distressed sounding Aussies asking to do a mystery burger / rubber chicken assignment 300 miles away. "No I don't live near the Shetland Islands!". I can now get pineapple on my pizzas as well.

    Yay!.:j

When MS companies say that you mustn't have any friends or family working at a store, how close do you think they mean by friends? I know a couple of people at a store that's just come up on GR, but they're only casual acquaintances (went to college with one) rather than friends. Do you think this would still exclude me from the shop?
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
