The Fort is very good, I agree but i don't think you can beat Glasgow city Centre for shopping. I love Buchanan Street!0

I think The Fort is great for clothes shopping as most of the mid-range high street shops are there, ie, Wallis, Principles, Top Shop, etc (no Primark or MKOne).
However, I don't really like the fact that it isn't under cover. It's fine on a dry day - but we don't get a great run of those!!! Maybe we are spoiled these days by the likes of Braehead - where you don't even have to get wet if it's raining.
I find Clydebank has quite a good selection of shops. Not so much for small speciality stores, but for everyday high street stuff.
