E:31/01/2005 Orange £100 credit for old phone
Hello all,
Went to Orange store today and they are offering £100 credit to your account for most tarriffs when you give them ANYY old phone as long as you can turn it on - no charger or sim required!
Quite a good deal if you want a new contract - but expires tomorrow...

Wish I'd known about that one earlier. We are going into town this weekend to upgrade phone which is on an Orange contract. Unfortunately we can't get in tomorrow. If anyone hears that this offer has been extended please post here. Thanks. If I had known then what I know now . . .

They were offering this earlier this month too. My brother went to the store & they were advertising £100 for your old phone. He was told it would end on 11th January but looks like it is extended.
They also offer you £50 credit & your friend £25 credit if you are referred by an Orange customer. My brother was told he can't have both deals but it is worth asking anyway in case he was misinformed or you get an assistant who gives it to you.
He also got a free P900, which is £200 on PAYG!!0 -
Can I reed about it on Orange website before going to the store? ThanksHave you got something to share - Do it.

Is there any more information about this? For example, could I take my top up card for a pay as you go phone with me, and have them credit it in exchange for my old phone?
Also would it cancel my 5-texts-a-day-free package if I did this? Any ideas or where I can find out?0 -

There is unfortunately no info on this on the web site and I only found out on Sunday - a bit too late for me as I need to decide which one to go for first. It is for contract phones only unfortunately and excludes PAYG. Contract only, inc student contracts! Not the internet contracts though - which you CAN get in store I found out yesterday...
It does end today as it was a January promotion. Shame
The Feb probotion BTW is double mins and texts for 6 months - which aint that good.Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -

Is it £100 off the new phone, or do you start the new contract with £100 credit?0

You start the new contract with £100 credit which comes off your total bill cost (i.e rental + calls) so if you go for a £25 contract its effectively 4 months free line rental. or 8 months half price. Very similar to E2Save and no need to send your bills in! They also said that £50 could go towards a new phone instead if I wanted to but it may have been just a negotiation thing.Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -
I think you will find that you pay for the full year and they will credit you the £100 at the end of the 12 months. We got offered £75 cashback from Voda before xmas but they gave it back to you at the end of your contract.
I may be wrong thou as i have not seen this offer myself.
SmokeyNo matter how much money you have got, it will never be enougth!
