So the lastest rumour of 'mid-June' might be believable then....
When are we getting 2.2
British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Thing is once HTC patch it for sense and then the carriers fix it Spaceman's probably right.
Apart from iPhone and Google N1 no supplier and carrier really cares once the phone is on sale. Sony's X10 is on 1.6 and I'll put even money it doesn't get an upgrade. I had a X1, SE promised WM 6.5 when the X2 came out and then never delivered, nothing you can do other than a unofficial upgrade and if it if the phone breaks for any reason your warranty has evaporated...
And yes I'm talking from experience hence the "had" an X1, it broke, was rejected under warranty as it had "unofficial" firmware even though it was a physical fault.0 -
Thats good news, I have been following this closely. Lets hope that the carriers roll it out without too much !!!!!!!isation of it? I'm on T-Mobile with a Hero. I cant wait to try out the Google navigation software!!'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

Yes. If you have a version of Android that supports Google Navigation it is part of Google Maps and it is truly excellent.
It works just like any other Sat Nav software, excpet that when you approach your destination it switches to street view so you can see the building you're looking for. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
