I know it's not quite the same way round, but Pure make some of John Lewis' radios, and Linsar/Avtex make their tvs.
Radios - GOOD
TVs - AVOID!
The thing about Samsung making parts for sony's VCRs/DVD/HDD recorders is probably still true, but with advanced technology on those devices, it's worth remembering that the software plays a large part in how well they work.
For last year's Samsung recorders, the software was created by a third party and they're hideously unreliable, while sony's work a treat.0 -
