One month broadband contracts - what's the earliest I can leave?

Hi all
If I sign up to a 1 month broadband contract, and my line becomes active on the 1st of the month, is it perfectly possible to request my MAC on the same day to port straight out again? I understand I would be charged for the full 30 days even if the service moved before 30 days were up.
Thanks
Michael.

1 month or 12 months. Probably best to telephone the provider and ask.0
