Personally I would not have worried too much about it. I found a brilliant deal from 3 and asked voda to match it, they couldn't so it was so long and thanks for the fish. I had been with voda for years as well. No biggie though. More than happy with my current deal.

Didn't know that Virgin offered the Desire, what was the min. contract period on that £20/month deal?

the virgin deal was 24 months too. That was in their April brochure, so they may have stopped. They knocked off a bit from their normal price because I have tv/phone/broadband with them
