haven holidays, how much are passes ??

we want to go to blackpool in october for the kiddies to see the lights.
we have found a private caravan on a haven site, but price does not include passes.

does anyone know how much passes would be ??

and has anyone ever had problems, with us booking privatly rather than through haven holidays ?

Hi .

I am 99% sure that the haven pass costs £27 per person ?

Hi,
It depends on the actual date you are going but for a 7 night stay outside half term is £21.50 adult and children 4 -14 yrs are £11.25, half term is adults £30 child £15.50

I know there are lots on there but i know Haven head office has been informed about people selling these passes and would hate to see anyone buy off e-bay ( and they go for quite a good price aswell) only to arrive with children to find you cant use them and then have to also pay Haven to buy more..
I expect lots of people do get away with it, but not sure if i would want to chance it..
The cost of these passes have risen from £17 a family when we started letting to £142 in 2010...

The passes change colour/character every week at Haven as well, so getting the right colour for your week will be a bit tricky if buying off Ebay unless you have inside knowledge from the site.

Personally i wouldnt buy the passes from ebay...just imagine the embarresment if you were stopped at the entrance of the entertainment....

would advise kurjam that if you've not already booked then don't use private caravan. We went to a Haven caravan site last year (family of 5) and managed to get a weekend for £79 bargain i know .... but my point is tha on arrival we found families who had obviously booked private caravans and were spending more on passes than we had on the entire holiday as for £79 passes were included. Haven always have a special offers page where you can check on late deals and compare prices ...... hope this helps as it worked out so well for us first time that we did the same thing again (late offer) and took the kids to Blackpool for the illuminations for £149 which is height of their season and was great
