At least Matt took the time to come online and offer to help, I haven't seen other business reps do the same.

Give Matt and Ramsdenraven time to do the email badminton, then when he's got a answer he can tell us.

I need some advice here folks.

In Feb of this year I purchased a Panasonic washing machine from Comet and it came with a free 5 year warranty. 2 years as standard, the further 3 years after sending off a claim form and proof of purchase to Panasonic.

My form was returned with Panasonic saying Comet had opted out of this promotion at the end of Jan. When I looked at the machine instore the offer was still being advertised. i actually made the purchase over the phone when I asked clearly again if the offer was still current and was told it was. The claim form was delivered with the machine.

After a Comet "investigation" they have confirmed they did opt out of the promotion as described and claim there is nothing they can do.

I feel like I've been mis sold. I wanted a machine with a 5 year warranty and thought thats what I was getting. Apparently the sales call wasn't recorded so I have no proof that I was given the wrong information or that I looked at the offer being advertised instore.

What are my options now? I want what I was sold but without proof how can I go about this?

Sorry for the long post, any help, advice or comments much appreciated.
