How long will a HTC Desire or Legend battery last in real life?

We all know what they are supposed to last according to the manufacturer but they rarely do. My iPhone will last a day with 3-4 hours browsing via wifi and 8 hours music, also about 30 mins of calls, which isn't to bad I suppose, I dont want to get something that need perminantly stuck to a charger

If you turn off unneccessary items like removing a moving background ive heard can improve battery life, there are other things you can do but cant remember them. Try the android forums as im sure theres a thread on there about this0

hi, i usually charge my htc desire about every other-day, but i`ve just changed the wallpaper to a plain black and turned off the wi-fi when i have a good reception with 3g . so might improve a bit more.are you classified as human ?
