Don't work out how much you have paid them over the years, it just makes you feel bad....

Our sky account has always been in my name. If my hubby were to take out one in his name would he be considered a new customer for these types of offers?

I've called SKY on numerous occasions and as a new customer asked what there best deals were.And guess what?Nothing!All they would say is ' do you know how much the SKY plus box is worth? '.And trust me-I've spoken to many people. I'm sat her annoyed as heck that I cant watch the TV because my Freeview reception is pants so I need something. Going to sound like I'm on the bandwagan but does anyone have a spare half price code?Would be much appreciated!

I tried to do the same a few months ago & had a mesage to call them. I was days off a year from having cancelled Sky & they would not accept me as a new customer.
This time however they would not be able to say I'm not a new customer.

Time and time again one can see new customers getting lots of offers and existing loyal customers being discriminated against.

I cancel an order and sky has kept my details pending and I have been told it would appear on my account for about 30 days; which means I cannot get sky HD in time for World Cup. Fortunately there is Virgin HD in the road I live. Virgin does not have enough HD channels but they are catching up. On top of that one does not have to fork out £10 for HD channels.

IF YOU CANCEL YOU HAVE TO APPLY IN SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME THOUGH.

I think the Centrica offer is finished. I wanted to sign up as work for the company but already have sky.
