  • In March I ordered CDs from the US (not on eBay). First package took about 6 working days, the second, posted 2 days later, took 6 weeks! No explaination for this and the goods were under the customs threshold, so no potential delays there.

I've ordered many times from this company and generally get goods within two weeks. Though there was an occasion just before last Christmas where they took 7 weeks. They'd refunded me by this time so I told them to recharge for the goods. They just took the cost of the goods excluding postage.

So, goods can actually turn up by the time you've lost hope!

When I log in at Paypal next to the transaction it says 'SENT, TRACK' & the word TRACK is a link to USPS website where it shows the message above. The code showing starts LC, not sure where I can check if the number is correct.

P.S FIO The total amount was $22.25 + shipping for an item that can only be bought in USA.

Am I right in thinking the 'threshold' for items coming from abroad is £18, in which case I'm still under this with $22 aren't I? How would I find out if it's at customs waiting for me?

http://forums.ebay.co.uk/thread.jspa?start=0&threadID=1200116915&anticache=1274359359658 reading that, although it is back a few years, it would seem there is a problem with some tracking via USPS as showing as 'no record'. It could be a slight typo by the seller, or something we are doing wrong. Email the seller and explain, ask to check the tracking and the website they are using to track it with.

You could try here and tick the incoming international parcel box. http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/track?catId=7500082&pageId=trt_resultspage&keyname=track_blank&_requestid=78215

Message I'm getting from the parcelforce link is

We are currently unable to confirm that status of your parcel. Please check the number and try again. Please note that items sent over 4 months ago cannot be tracked online. If you are tracking a parcel sent from outside of the UK, we may not have received it yet. Please try again or use the help button below.

Depends, you have to add together the price of the item + the cost of shipping, thats assuming the seller has even managed to declare it correctly.

If it isn't showing as tracking online I can only assume this will be the same when the PP/Ebay dispute staff member looks at it. So escalate if you haven't already and add the fact the online tracking doesn't show as anything.

Will message sellers again then perhaps put Paypal claim in just to be sure, or should I be waiting a little while longer? From 3rd May item (this was a total of $39.00 including shipping) I've been waiting 17 days & 13 days for the one from 7th May (which is the one with the tracking problems - this was a total of $34.82 inc shipping).

I too am having problems with usps. I paid for something on 12th may and the seller has sent a link with tracking number but all it says is that it was accepted in washington on 20th. Is there a way we can track it when it reaches the uk?
