I'm a guitarist and many of my musician mates use Spotify to let them hear/learn songs without having to buy them. I've been waiting to get on it for ages so will definitely give this a try as even if it's only a limited version it'll still be worth it. Thanks for the info!

Yep, never understood why people were begging around for Spotify invites when they can get the superior Grooveshark for free and without any tiresome registration process

I used up al my Spotify invites, otherwise I'd give some out here. To clarify what others are saying above:

Spotify free: have to be invited, no limits on music, ads, sometimes get invites
Spotify open: only 20 hours of music a week, ads, no invites, but anyone can sign up on the site.

That help anyone?
