Hi,

Does anyone know how easy it is to change the address on a driving licence. No passport just phone bill and credit card and bank statements to confirm address.

Is it easier just to go into the dvla with what I have to get it done there and then

    Hmmm........ I might be wrong

    BUT

I would just fill in the change of address and post it off to them.

Pick up a form form postoffice send in paper version of driving licence. Job done.

Just before you do check your photo part and see when runs out. If soon get a new picture done and send that off, as I just changed my address and got a new photocard only to find I will need to return in 6 months due to needing a new updated picture.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.

Do it online - do it quicker

Please have the following to hand:
    • your driving licence
    • your UK passport if you have one
    • details of previous addresses
DVLA will aim to send your driving licence within 10 working days of you submitting your application
