    I too beening looking in to cheaper inks. I used Inkrite in my kodak 5100 and the ink looked just the same I have binned the kodak now as it dont like feeding paper.. I got a canon mp560 now very good printer not one paper jam.

    Anyway been look for good ink for my canon and Inkrite use a ink called Everbrite they say its as good or better then the oem inks and they say photos dont fade for 110 years.

    I would never refill ink carts if you get it on the carpits it will not come out. But I do think you can get the everbrite ink on its own so its up to you.

    Also good place for inkrite is play.com..
