Orange charging for SMS delivery reports

I switched to Orange recently, and have just received my first bill. Can you imagine my dismay when I discovered that I was being charged 1p for each SMS delivery report?!
Nowhere was this mentioned, and as I am paying £27.50 for unlimited texts/internet and 600 minutes, I thought they were getting enough money out of me.
It adds insult to the injury that they can't provide an adequate signal in my house, which is why I turned delivery reports on as many texts just don't deliver (and it doesn't tell you this unless the reports are switched on)
I will be complaining but realise I probably have no leg to stand on as it's probably buried somewhere in their T&Cs that they can do this, so take this as a warning, DON'T GO WITH ORANGE.

This comes up time and again.
Orange have been charging for reports for years, it's in their T&C's.0 -
I didn't realise this at first either. Promptly switched it off after I did find out.0

It does make me laugh the number of people that go on these forums and say 'Dont go with XXXX' because I haven't read the paperwork.0

Orange have charged for delivery reports for ages as has already been said, and a delivery report is no guarantee that the message has actually reached the other handset, if the message is showing as sent on your handset then its left your handset and reached the network0
