Broadband packages with free laptops

HI,

My broadband package with O2 is now up and I was looking at renewing it with a company that offers a free laptop with the broadband contract.

Has anyone else taken up one of these deals before, are they worth it?

Thanks
V

Just like there is no free lunch in this universe there is no free laptop either - you pay for it in higher monthly charges than without the laptop.

Look at the charges , figure out what you are paying for the laptop, consider whether or not that is good value (most times it won't be).

How much were you paying with o2?
How much would you be paying for a comparable service to get a "free" laptop?
What spec would the laptop be and how much could you buy it for?

    I would avoid personally
