My girlfriend had a similar situation the other, she came home absolutely fuming saying can't you do something... Well no, but she did post to that first site Rate the Driver - we noticed it's been updated and now allows people to post photos, so I guess once we have a similar issue one day and we put a picture on thier, if she gets sued, the answer will be there! Either way, it amused us just putting the comment on, certainly calmed her down! :D

What do you think it will achieve by posting a registration number and slagging off the driving skills of the owner that it won't achieve just by having a little grumble?

CP56 GTZ - the driver of this black BMW 318se is an idiot who doesn't understand the rules of the road!!

    There. That's a real car.

I don't know what you're hoping to achieve by doing it...

I like the hypocrisy of posting photos of bad driving as its usually taken by someone who is driving their own car so they're hardly a shining example...;);)
  • I don't think many of us would stand up to too much driving scrutinly, including those who feel the need to post on these websites. Maybe it's best to left to only those drivers who've never made the slightest mistake in their motoring career.

I am the administrator on our local village website/forum. Recently I got a call from a very distressed lady saying that someone had put photos of her car on the forum. I had a look and it was there, showing how she had illegaly parked (On a pavement on a corner of a T-Junction blocking the whole pavement and drivers views round the corner). I simply photoshopped out the number plate but left the post!!

Why? You're not under any obligation to do so.

You had no need to do that.

Virtually anything that can be seen on, or from, a public highway can be photographed and displayed anywhere.

And anyway, if she was acting like an idiot, it might have been educational to have it made public ;)
