Ames I'm on incapacity benefit and am allowed to earn £20 a week on top of my benefit doing occupational therapy. as you can see i'[m not earning anywhere near that :)

I'm not allowed to make jewellery for more than 16 hours either or it is classed as i can work, couldn't anyway after an hour or so my arm starts hurting and i need at least a day break inbetween :)

Thanks Claire. Is the £20 a week after all costs? For instance, I'd have to pay RM to collect the books, and buy a franking machine and stuff. How often do you have to submit the accounts, is it yearly? And how do you prove to them that you don't do over 16 hours? Sorry for all the questions.

depends on what you are earning, its every three months producing accounts

and you need to write down the hours you work like a little diary

my last accounts wereasked for in nov but i haven't been asked for any since, perhaps its because my earnings are so low?

    yes its £20 profit

Thanks Claire, it might be worth me looking into that then. Are the earnings average, so you can earn say £40 one week and nothing the next?
