Ames by all means go in and be polite....BUT it is a facility for the public, you are the public and of all places a swimming pool would be the one place you would expect to be fully DDA compliant.

    Really I don't think you're being unreasonable.

The pool I go to for excercises always has lift on & so it should.

Thanks Butti, it's not that kind of pool though, it's snooker type pool! But yes, they should comply with the DDA. But as they're doing the group a favour by giving them the table for free for the afternoon they might get annoyed at asking for more concessions. I can but ask though!

do you spend money there on drnks? if so, they are getting paid for the table!!

Ames - they shouldn't have a problem having the lift in operation, they don't have it installed to look pretty.

Beanie - did you find the cheque?

Scaredy - Well done on finishing it.

Just been out for a quick walk to the library, DH keeps turning his wheels up to make me walk faster....worn out now. Have walked over 8 miles in the last 3 days.....I'd like a day off tomorrow to catch up with stuff.

Ebay parcels been posted, another big item has finally got a bid on so at least it will sell.

Mr T's due to deliver soon so best crack on and get the fridge cleaned out.
