One way tickests to US. Is there a way?

    I don't think it will help but, US Airways do a direct to Charlotte, NC from GTW. Looking at https://www.cheapflights.co.uk most of the cheaper fares start around 1 November. Have you tried trailfinders who sometimes come up with good solutions? Best of luck

    Thanks to you all. All your thoughts are much appreciated. Latest I have is from AA £382. direct. I may go for that. no one seem to beat it. Will keep trying the other suggestions till I book in two weeks time.

    One thing to note. You may not be able to print a boarding pass online with a one way ticket, and you will almost certainly get pulled at UK check-in. You will then be asked for proof of a return ticket or some proof of residency permission in the USA. This will be in addition to US Imigration when you get there.
    It doesn't mean you won't get pulled if you have a return ticket, it just reduces the likelyhood.
    In otherwords, make sure you have your US permits etc readily available at UK check-in.
