anyone had issues with o2's fair usage policy?

As Macman says. there have NEVER been an o2 Voucher codes.
Their sister company/brand "Be Un Limited" has in the past had a few "voucher codes" but they have been usable on the Be site itself and NOTHING to do with the £back referral sites, ie you'd still get both - but Be haven't run any such codes for about 9 months now.
o2 Premium with the £back £70 and the o2 3m free = just £20-£50 net-costfor a year's upto 24Mbps broadband + 0800 UK support 24x7 etc etc - yes the cash back has been £90-£100 at SOME stage in the past, but if you're not 100% happy with your current ISP, you'd not regret moving to an o2 LLU packaged even if there were no £back/perks - just down to what you value.

Hi,
I received a phone call from O2 6 weeks or so ago saying that they thought I was using too much. I was told also that if they do kick me off I will still face a monthly charge until my contract is up. Can they do this ?
I feel like a fat kid that's been told to step away from the all you can eat buffet

but I can usually shut her up with chocolate!
When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.

I'm pretty much certain that they can't. They are entitled to terminate the contract early and disconnect you but once that is done they cannot continue to charge.I was told also that if they do kick me off I will still face a monthly charge until my contract is up. Can they do this ?0 -

I would hope not but it's what they told me. I would happily let them chuck me off if I knew that they definately couldn't keep charging me the length of my contract. But presumably you are on O2 Access not 02 LLU?
Yup I'm on the access package. I think I pay more than those on LLU for a worse service.Inside this body lays one of a skinny woman

What do you mean by vouchers? You asked about cashbacks and both sites currently offer 02 cashbacks.
I assumed the vouchure would be a code I need to enter in the O2 website? But both sites say no current vouchures. Are you saying if I go through on their link I will get a cashback?0 -
To get cashback you simply log into your cashback site and click through to the relevant seller. No voucher code is necessary.

RaiderHammer as you are obviously new to the £back idea : you may prefer (assuming they are still the same £back levels) to use the TopCashBack site as it does NOT deduct an annual fee, whereas Quidco does retain the first £5 of any annual £back as their membership fee. Personally I'm a member of both and use the best site on a case by case basis.

Hi mk-donald, yes mate you are correct, very new to cash back sites and have never used them before. Unfortunately (rather silly now) I had signed up to O2 direct with no cash back because when I looked on them sites it said no voucher is available and I wrong assumed that I would need a code or something. But hey you live and learn. But by the sound of it I need to register with both Quidco and TopCashBack. Would people say these are the best two to use?
Thank you for your help.0 -
100 gig a month is nothing, Kids can download more than that just on youtube. I use a program to monitor what each ones uses. 300 - 400gig a month is normal.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
